It's a blog eat blog world..

What do I mean by that?  Well, nothing actually.  I just didn't have a good title and that just popped in my head, but I can add meaning to it.

BAsically, I haven't been blogging because other bloggers out there are bigger, better, brighter and more worth your time.  For example, check out this ninja of a mom over at Slowmama making all kinds of homemade shenanigans.   And then there is this design beast who makes even ugly churches and church halls look like winter wonderlands.  And you shouldn't miss this thoughtful post on miscarriage or this hilarious post from Suri.  I still cannot believe that the Duchess is going to allow this to hang anywhere near the Palace.  I'd put my dainty royal foot down if I were her.   Anyway, good things are happening on the interwebs.  The big blogs have the better barks if you catch my drift ... wood.

But I am not going to give up on this place, because they say a man's best friend is his blog and apparently a blogger that continues to push some sort of word association with blog and dog is either hilarious or in the blog-house with some readers.

If you haven't stopped reading this pointless post by now, let me share with you some shots of La Casa Boring.

The following two photos are my 2013 resolutions in action.  This is what "homeschooling" looks like in our house.  We weren't exactly consistent this past fall, but it's a New Year and a fresh start!  The temptation once you send one off to school is to slack with the others.

I actually do have other things I'd like to write about, but just need a bit more time to think them out.  For now, all I've got is a photo dump and also this line from Tank today, "Mom, that nice man opening the door is very plump."  All this in his megaphone made voice.  So much awkwardness.

  2. I just want to say I love your blog! I saw your post on A Knotted Life during Advent, and it really moved me; my husband and I had just had a miscarriage, and you said exactly what I was feeling. Thank you.
